Venice Blvd. One very ugly street. But it has great flow of traffic, the lights are very nicely timed.
Buildings on Venice, that are nice to look at
The bike lane changed recently at Culver and Venice. The bike lane was repainted so that bikes and cars must cross paths much like at Lincoln and Venice. It creates a right turn lane for cars but also a bottleneck on Venice, which creates traffic. This truck is entirely in and blocking the bike lane, it's got to get left.So I stay to the right anyway
| My biggest concern is making bike riders and cars cross paths unnecessarily. I have contacted LADOT to tell them I think this is dangerous. I want to say something because I feel stress everytime I'm in this situation. Venice Blvd is already great. I get it though. |

Finally. When you can hear an emergency vehicle. Try to figure out where it is. If it is coming up behind you, slow down. There is a good chance cars will cut you off while pulling over for the vehicle or vehicles.
