Artist Statement
I like thinking in days. Progress that could impact many lives positively and permanently can be made in one day, and it is not unreasonable. As an artist, I believe that hands on experience with any subject of interest can expand understanding and imagination. Creating an expert who can eventually innovate positive and necessary changes for the future. Art wants to be elitist, but it is not exclusive. The three dimensional aspects of my work are made entirely of found materials, to prove over again that art can be made by anyone at anytime. Art does not have to be an accumulation of objects, but an expression of ideas in order to move forward.
